Service Dogs UK is the only UK charity providing accredited PTSD assistance dogs to members of the armed forces and emergency services with a clinical diagnosis of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. We use dogs mainly from ‘rescue’ and partner them up with  our military and blue light Veterans, they then embark on a life changing 9 -12 month  journey full of positivity as they teach their dogs to become their assistance dogs under our expert guidance. They accomplish success as accredited partnerships and their assistance dogs to help them to better manage their PTSD symptoms; it really is changing two lives at a time!

Raising awareness of the need for support to those that have been injured in service is key to the charities aims. We need to secure donations, sponsorship and grant funding to help us provide support to other Veterans in other areas and to help us grow to a national charity so we can achieve this.

We are now looking for a Head of Fundraising to join us on a full-time, permanent basis.
