The 2023 Soldiering On Awards Business Scale-Up Award is presented in partnership with London Stock Exchange Group.
This Award honours members of the Armed Forces community who started a successful new business venture more than two years ago (before January 1st, 2021) and who still retain a minimum of 50% interest in the venture.
The finalists for this year’s Award are all established, ambitious businesses, that have scaled-up their operations, expanded their client bases, and are creating jobs.
Shane Glasspool and Craig Pinkney run Crimsham Farm CIC, which provides safe access to green space and therapeutic services. They are in the process of registering with OFSTED in order to expand into education.
Paul Montgomery founded Sir Fix-a-Lock whilst serving in the British Army and by the time his military career ended, he had three years of profit within the business.
Tin Trousers Limited started out providing striping up and alterations to uniforms working from married quarters – now it has the tailoring contract for HMS Excellent.
