A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a part-time Case Study Manager in the Marketing and  Communications department at SSAFA, the UK’s oldest national tri-service military charity.

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and personable Case Study Manager to join our PR team with proven experience of producing outstanding results in a crowded sector.

The successful candidate will be a confident communicator and comfortable working with often vulnerable individuals, enabling them to tell their SSAFA stories and how we have supported them whether this was our staff, volunteers or fundraisers. It is an exciting time to join our organisation as we embark on the next chapter in our development.


To carry out this role successfully you will have:

  • Experience of working in either a PR/press team or have a journalism background
  • Strong ability to build relationships across the organisation including beneficiaries, volunteers and fundraisers.
  • Proven track record of researching and writing personal stories and case studies that have been successfully used across a number of communication channels including external publications, digital communications and the media.
  • Strong knowledge of database systems and The Data Protection Act
  • Excellent ability to commission photography and video.
