About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Casework Administrator to join our expanding Wales regional team at SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity on a 12 month Fixed term contract basis.

You will be responsible for providing specialist administrative support, working closely with SSAFA branch volunteers in order to ensure a consistent, timely, quality service is provided to SSAFA beneficiaries.  This will include supporting volunteer network including our trained caseworkers. You will be call handling, signposting, and triaging initial enquiries.

To help you establish yourself in this new post you will receive excellent training and induction to SSAFA and will have the opportunity to influence the processes and procedures within the newly formed team, working closely with the Regional Casework Manager and Regional Operations Support Manager.

The post is home-based, but you may have to travel occasionally around Wales.

About the team

In the role you will be working closely alongside two other Casework Administrators

supporting our volunteers from eight branches across Wales to administer casework to SSAFA beneficiaries. The successful candidate will work as part of a larger support team which will include a Casework Manager and Regional Operational Support Manager.

About you

To carry out this role successfully you will be able to provide excellent customer service by telephone, e-mail, and face to face. You will have the capability to use Microsoft Office 365. The successful candidate will have experience of planning and managing their own workload, with minimal supervision and will be able to work under pressure in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
