SSAFA – Child & Adolescent Mental Health Nurse

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join the Cyprus Community Health Team at SSAFA, the UK’s oldest national tri-service military charity as a Child and Adolescent Mental Health Nurse.

About the role

We are currently seeking a candidate to join a small team of staff working with families across the island as a member of the health and social work service. The post holder will deliver, or advise on the delivery of, high quality safe nursing care, ensuring consistently high standards of practice and clinical excellence which comply with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) code of professional conduct. As the CAMHS Nurse you will be expected to promote and develop clinical practice, through the practice of evidence-based care and contribute to the knowledge and understanding of CAMHS within the wider multi-disciplinary teams

A relocation package is available for this role.

Requirements

To carry out this role you will be an NMC Registered Mental Health Nurse experienced in working with children and young people and will ideally have wide-ranging clinical experience in a community setting.  You should be able to work effectively within multi-disciplinary teams and possess excellent interpersonal, communication and IT skills.

A valid driving licence, together with the ability to drive manual cars, is essential as substantial travel is required across the island.
