A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Executive Assistant at SSAFA, the UK’s oldest national tri-service military charity. This is a fixed term maternity cover contract for up to one year commencing October 2018.

About the role

This role provides one to one executive assistance to the Directors of Finance and IT. It also provides support to the Governance and Quality Team, working collaboratively with different Health and Social Care teams, including the RAF Personal Support & Social Work Service, Adoption and overseas business support staff.

You will lead the administration and organisation for senior management meetings. In addition, the post holder will manage and co-ordinate the vetting processes in line with legislation and agreed time scales working closely with the Head of Quality Assurance Social Work.

Requirements

To carry out this role successfully you will have the ability to use your own initiative as well as working as part of a team. You must be able to maintain confidentiality and pay attention to detail.

Working across disciplines requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, flexibility and a proactive approach to work. We are seeking someone with exceptional IT skills and experience of management information systems.

Please note, we are looking for someone who can start the role in the first half of October 2018.
