SSAFA – Gurkha Services Administrator (London)

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a part-time Gurkha Services Administrator in the Welfare Department at SSAFA, the UK’s oldest national tri-service military charity.

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated administrative assistant to the Gurkha Services Manager to support services which will improve the welfare of ex-Forces Gurkhas, their families and communities. There are approximately 12,500 ex-Forces Gurkha families in the areas covered by around 20 SSAFA Branches. In support of the outreach to these communities, you will be a well organised, forward thinker, with a good eye for detail.

Requirements

To carry out this role successfully you will have:

  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple simultaneous tasks
  • Ability to produce documents to a high standard
  • Experience of working with volunteers
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
