SSAFA – HR Officer

About the role

You will be responsible for providing a front-line, comprehensive and professional HR administration service across the full employee lifecycle.  This will include managing recruitment campaigns from start to finish liaising with candidates, external agencies and hiring managers to successfully recruit to the vacancy effectively and efficiently.  You will also be responsible for coordinating and recording all payroll information.  In addition, you will manage the HR Information System (iTrent) on a day-to-day basis, maintaining and updating employee records accurately.

About you

You will be able to demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, with an understanding of how to maximise the use of social media to advertise our vacancies and the ability to think of new and innovative ways for candidate attraction routes to maximise the impact of the SSAFA employer brand.

You will have good written and communication skills, with the ability to deliver information clearly and concisely.  You will be a team player with the ability to be flexible according to priorities and take satisfaction from delivering a professional service.  Some experience of working in HR is important.

This is a very busy role requiring you to manage multiple duties and meet tight deadlines.  This is an exciting opportunity for you to expand your HR experience and knowledge, working alongside other HR professionals.
