Veterans Wellbeing Project Worker to support our new Tackling Loneliness and Positive Pathways Projects funded by the Armed Forces Covenant

STAND TO Derbyshire Veterans Community Services offers information, support and outdoor wellbeing to veterans across Derbyshire who may be experiencing a range of health issues, alcohol, substance misuse, mental health conditions and or social isolation.

We are looking to appoint a project worker with experience of serving in the British Armed Forces to provide a flexible response to Derbyshire Veterans.

The post is 18.5 hours weekly, initially on a fixed term basis until April 2022 (however may be extended dependent on funding). Salary SCP scale 5 points 22-23 (£21,700 – £22,238) pro rata The post carries 25 days holidays plus bank holidays per annum pro rata.

The post will include occasional evening and weekend work and will require travel throughout Derbyshire.

The post will be subject to a satisfactory DBS check and a three months’ probation period. Safeguarding training will be provided in accordance with charity policy.
