Still time to sign up for SSAFA and Scotland’s charity Kiltwalk

Scotland’s Kiltwalk 2021 takes place this Sunday (26th September) in Glasgow and there is still time to sign up to take part to raise funds for SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity – with all fundraising once again to be topped up by 50% thanks to The Hunter Foundation.

The Kiltwalk is a unique way to help a charity such as SSAFA, because what you raise will see the Hunter Foundation add another 50%.

Kate Aitken, Branch Secretary of SSAFA Glasgow & Renfrewshire, said:

“In Scotland last year, SSAFA answered more than 3,200 calls from people who have served their country, but, for whatever reason, found they needed our help.

“That help can only be provided with donations from the public, and by people taking on fundraising challenges like the Kiltwalk.

“With two routes to walk – the Mighty Stride and the Wee Wander – people of any age and ability can put on their kilt and their best foot forward to help keep these vital services operating for our veterans, serving Armed Forces personnel, and their families.”
