Submariners to row the Atlantic

As you may be aware, 2019 marks the 50th year that the Royal Navy Submarine service has successfully maintained a Continuous At-Sea Deterrent (CASD50).  To recognise the human endeavour and commitment necessary to sustain this vital operation,  HMS Oardacious: a team of four serving Royal Navy Submariners will row over 3000-miles unsupported across the Atlantic Ocean, racing in the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge, the world’s toughest rowing race.

Their aim is the be the first team to cross the finish line and raise over £100,000 to provide awareness and support for Mental Health in the Submarine community, through the wonderful Royal Navy & Royal Marines Charity; a fantastic charity who support sailors, marines and their families for life.

The team are canvassing support and sponsorship to fund this endeavour; with campaign costs estimated at ~£130,000 to cover the cost of their boat, race kit, race fees etc.  They still have a number of fantastic sponsorship opportunities available and would be delighted if you could have a look at their website, or intro pack attached that give details of the sponsorship options available.  The team would of course would be delighted to tailor any package where possible.  Much of their campaign funding has already been provided by existing HMS Oardacious corporate sponsors, including:
