***THIS JOB VACANCY HAS NOW CLOSED***
Support our Paras is the charity for The Parachute Regiment and Airborne Forces providing support and assistance through the welfare of serving and retired soldiers and their dependants, as well as the maintenance of Regimental efficiency, ethos, spirit and heritage.
The Role
Support our Paras are looking to recruit a new CEO due to the upcoming retirement of our current CEO, who has led the Charity since 2010.
This role presents a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual to lead a small but dedicated team and work with a highly capable Board to develop and grow the organisation into the future.
The Charity plays an important role in supporting both serving soldiers and veterans and their dependants, but it could do more. The new CEO will lead the further development and implementation of the organisation’s strategy, build its profile and supporter base and increase its income.
The core ambition of the Board and the Charity is to increase the level of welfare provision and to provide an improved support network for those who have served in The Parachute Regiment and Airborne Forces to help with financial, business, social and health issues.
The new CEO will be instrumental in the Charity’s ability to realise this ambition.
