The Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust is seeking to appoint a Co-ordinator to work with Northumbria University on the  NHS Armed Forces Social Prescribing E-Learning project.  The Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust is a grant making charity, which supports the Armed Forces Covenant by funding projects which address specific priorities.  To find out more about our work please visit our website www.covenantfund.org.uk/

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, coordinating and producing the educational material for the NHS Armed Forces Social Prescribing E-Learning module.

This will include the development of a bespoke software application, developing armed forces social prescribing link worker roles and creating an educational package on social prescribing in the armed forces community for all social prescribers.

The successful candidate for this role will be an employee of the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust and be seconded to work with The Northern Hub for Veterans and Military Families Research Hub at Northumbria University.

The Successful Candidate

The Trust is looking for a motivated individual, who has the ability to work remotely with supervision. The candidate must have previously served in the Armed Forces or from an Armed Forces family and/ or be able to demonstrate a good understanding and experience of the armed forces community. It is essential that the candidate demonstrates experience of producing training material based on a key skills framework, preferably e-learning.

Salary £24,000-30,000 depending on experience for a full-time, two year fixed term contract.

The post holder will be expected to work from home, with occasional travel to the University.
