The annual National Transition Event, delivered by Mission Motorsport, has a unique appeal. Incorporating the Silverstone Troops Trackday, the event brings together around 1000 service leavers, veterans and spouses with employers and veterans in key positions to provide insight, networking opportunities, and to enable others.
In essence, the NTE is:
- An event being held at an iconic central venue, with a unique draw to encourage engagement
- Not quite a careers fair – the tone is different. It is about supporting and helping individuals to widen horizons, access support, recognise their own potential and yes, to put themselves forward for jobs with those employers offering jobs
- Promoting veteran networking. Exemplars from participating companies will be a major feature – giving context and building networks for attendees
- Advertised through MoD, the CTP, the Defence Recovery Capability, and veteran networks
- An opportunity for employers to get support with their Armed Forces Covenant behaviours, and with the Covenant itself
- A data enabled activity – driving understanding of impact and utility of support.
High profile and inspirational, the event is peppered with well known figures who add huge value to the day. We are delighted that Ben Saunders will be joining us and will headline the lunchtime keynote briefing.
All attendees will participate in a short initial briefing and from there, attendees have the feedom to visit various exhibitor halls:
