The Royal Observer Corps Association are holding a series of events to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the Formation of the Observer Corps 1925 – 2025

The first of these events will be at 1300 hours on Saturday 17 May 2025 at the National Memorial Arboretum, Croxall Road, Alrewas, Staffordshire, members of the Royal Observer Corps Association will march with their National and Group Standards down the Royal Observer Corps Grove. This will be followed by a short service at the Royal Observer Corps Memorial to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the Formation of the Royal Observer Corps and the laying of a wreath to pay tribute to Observers John B Bancroft, William J Salter and Jack P Kelway who were killed during active service during the Second World War.

Lancaster PA474 of the Royal Air Force Battle of Britain Memorial Flight will perform a flypast at 1415 hours over the Royal Observer Corps Grove at the National Memorial Arboretum in recognition of the service provided by the Royal Observer Corps to the Royal Air Force.
