The FPS will deliver an online AFPS update for Veterans at 1230-1315 on Tue 19 March via MS Teams. It will cover:
- The latest on the 2015 Remedy (McCloud) implementation;
- A reminder of how pension benefits were earned during service and the ages that deferred pensions are paid;
- When and how the pension benefits increase;
- How to obtain a forecast for a deferred pension from Veterans UK;
- Dependents Benefits;
- How to claim a deferred pension; and
- The benefits of membership of the Forces Pension Society.
The brief will be delivered by the FPS Roadshow Manager with support from a Forces Pension Consultant. Whilst there will not be an opportunity to ask verbal questions during the brief you can pose questions via the chat function and those questions will be collated by the consultant into themes and then they will talk to those themes.
