Veterans at Ease – Norfolk/Suffolk based trainee NLPt Psychotherapists (two positions)

The opportunity has arisen for the future post of 4 NLP Therapists in Veterans at Ease.

We are looking for ex forces and reservists to take up positions within the charity to become neuro linguistic psychotherapists. We are looking to recruit in the following area:

  • Two positions in the Norfolk

We will take you through a training programme which will qualify you in using neuro linguistic psychotherapy (NLPt) and eventually become an accredited UKCP Psychotherapist, to help other serving members of the armed forces, veterans and their immediate families dealing with a range of psychological issues including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression and thoughts of suicide.

This role will be part time and you will be paid on a sessional basis.

All training costs will be covered by Veterans at Ease’s approved courses your commitment in return will be to provide therapy to pay back the cost of these courses and we expect you to go through all of the training up to and including UKCP accreditation.

If you are already qualified in neuro linguistic programming, please indicate this in your application and to what level you are qualified.

You will be responsible for:

  • Act at all times under the ethical guidelines of the UKCP
  • Safeguarding of your beneficiaries
  • the psychological wellbeing of your cohort of beneficiaries accessing veterans at ease’s services.
  • maintaining the good reputation of the charity of Veterans at Ease
  • Enhancing the good reputation of the charity of Veterans at Ease
  • reporting to your area lead psychotherapist

Veterans at Ease offer will support you with clinical supervision and monthly personal therapy costs, in accordance with the rules and regulations of the UKCP guidelines
