14th June 2017: Leading in MI5 and beyond – London

The Officers’ Association (OA) has secured a corporate membership with The Leaders Club, a networking group that meets in London. This will allow a small number of serving or former officers from the OA community to attend selected Leaders Club events via the OA.

At the next Leaders Club event, you will hear from Lord Jonathan Evans of Weardale, KCB DL

Jonathan Evans was the Director General of the British Security Service MI5 from 2007 to 2013. As head of MI5 he was one the British government’s principal advisors on national security threats including terrorism, cyber security and espionage and was a member of the Prime Minister’s National Security Council. He also led MI5’s work to ensure the security of the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games in London.
