It’s an exciting time to join The Royal British Legion as we embark on a new five year strategy. We plan to further develop our advice, information and support services to reach even more people in the Armed Forces community. The new Head of Commissioned Services will help us review and enhance some of our key offerings, including those linked with our Financial Capability, Independent Living and Outreach programmes.
You will lead a team tasked with working collaboratively across the organisation, and our partners, to refine policy and process for generating sustainable outcomes for the Legion’s clients. You will also advise on Employability initiatives and consider how we can best support the Armed Forces community through our CivvyStreet and MoneyForce sites.
You will be an experienced manager and relationship builder who has successfully designed and overseen national services. You are accustomed to troubleshooting problems, being accountable for a multifaceted budget, identifying opportunities for process and policy improvement, and working with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
