Give Us Time is delighted to announce a second year of funding from the Army Central Fund to support our work with Army families.
This sustained commitment will allow Give Us Time to provide even more respite breaks and days out to families affected by separation, physical or mental health, bereavement, or other welfare issues that arise from service life.
Alex Youngs, Operations Director, Give Us Time, said:
“This year, the charity saw a marked increase in families requesting breaks due to mental health issues, highlighting the pressure our Armed Forces are under. Thanks to the Army Central Fund, we can continue to help these families.”
Caroline Crewe-Read, Director, Army Central Fund said:
‘The Army Central Fund is pleased to be able to continue supporting the work of Give Us Time. Respite is an important aspect of wellbeing and the provision of these breaks helps serving Army personnel and their immediate families deal with the unique challenges of military life.’
The ongoing generosity of the Army Central Fund ensures that Give Us Time can keep providing these opportunities for Forces families to help them to rest, recover and restore their family bonds, which in turn boosts the morale of the Army as a whole.
