At the beginning of June, we welcomed Andrée Mannering to the Cobseo staff team as the new Business Support Officer.
In this role, I will be supporting all the team’s business functions through sector‑wide coordination, collaboration, engagement, and operational delivery. A key part of my work will be helping to develop and maintain sound working practices, with a particular focus on Membership, Finance, and Communications & Engagement to enhance member value and contribute to the delivery of Cobseo’s strategic pillars.
I bring a broad range of relevant experience from previous roles as Chief of Staff and in Business Management, Continuous Improvement, Divisional Communications, Employee Engagement, Group IT and both Royal Warrant and Consumer Duty Compliance. Graduating with with a degree in Business Information Systems, my career has included international work with Nestlé Professional, followed by roles in Digital Transformation and Group Customer Inclusion at Lloyds Banking Group (latterly where I partnered with charities and cross‑functional teams to improve the customer journey for vulnerable customers). Outside of work, I have trained with Guide Dogs for the Blind Association as a Guide Dog Boarder.
I come from a military family and was a Reservist, so supporting the Armed Forces community is something I care about deeply.
