A mother’s open letter to her military child

April is the Month of the Military Child, a time dedicated to recognising the resilience and strength of children growing up in Armed Forces families.

In that spirit, an Army wife and mother has written a heartfelt letter to her two-year-old daughter, intended for her to read when she is older. The letter reflects on the courage, adaptability, and quiet sacrifices military children show from such a young age, as well as the pride their families hold in them every day. Read here.
