Armed Forces Covenant Community Conference 2022

A one-day event on 18 May bringing together all those working on delivering the Armed Forces Covenant across the UK.

About this event

The Ministry of Defence’s Armed Forces Covenant Community Conference is back this year, and will take place in person at the King’s House Conference Centre in Manchester on Wednesday 18 May.

Representatives from local authorities across the UK — as well as others from the public and third sectors — are invited to join us for this one-day event, the focus of which will be on preparing to implement the new statutory Covenant Duty. The event will be a mixture of plenary sessions with guest speakers, interactive workshops and networking opportunities. While the focus will be on the new Covenant Duty, plenty of other Covenant-related topics will also be included on the agenda.

On the day, doors will open from 09.30, with the conference programme beginning at 10.00. Refreshments will be provided throughout the day, including a buffet lunch. The conference will close at 16.00.

King’s House Conference Centre is well-located in the centre of Manchester. For more details on how to get there, please visit KHCC’s website: https://www.kingshouse.co.uk/directions.

More details, including a full agenda and a request to register for individual workshops/break-out sessions, will be provided to registrants in due course.

Note that the conference will also be live-streamed — if you intend to join via live-stream, please do not register via this page. This page is intended for in-person registrations only. More details on the live-stream will be available closer to the time.
