BFBS – Account Manager

***THIS JOB VACANCY HAS NOW CLOSED***

Permanent

London Victoria Station/Hybrid

BFBS Creative is a Creative Agency with a difference. We are content creators and strategic campaigners who thrive off providing creative solutions for our clients’ communications challenges. We do work with purpose and variety, some even award-winning. We primarily work with the UK Government, Armed Forces, and charities to deliver strategic communication campaigns and content that matters.

We’re part of the British Forces Broadcasting Service – a global broadcaster and charity with an 80+ year heritage.

We’re looking for someone who already has experience as an Account Manager / Executive in a Creative Agency environment. Our key content outputs include video production, graphic design and animation, and audio podcast; experience in delivering such content is preferred but not a deal-breaker.

You’ll manage our customer accounts and projects, being the main point of contact for your assigned clients and supporting creative solutions by delivering a variety of content.

You’ll report to our Senior Account Manager and be supported by the Head of Strategy and Client Services. You’ll be expected to split your time between our London office in Victoria, remote working, our HQ in Gerrards Cross and client sites.

You will be assigned a range of clients and projects which you will take responsibility for by managing from start to finish. You’ll lead on the day-to-day contact with the client, work with our Content team to plan and produce content deliverables, and also be responsible for project documentation including creative proposals, and financial management.

You’ll be motivated by delivering great customer service. You’ll also have excellent attention to detail as you’ll be producing quote documents, creative proposals, and timing plans. Extra points would be evidence of commercial thinking and growing the value of work from existing clients.

With an ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines when needed, you will be a team player with proven project management skills and lots of enthusiasm. You will also be happy with occasional regional and potential international travel. Regular working from our London office, either with the wider team or to work directly with clients is also a possibility.

As part of the wider BFBS Creative team, you will occasionally be asked to support other clients’ work, and be expected to take part in team meetings, activities and away days. This also extends to potentially delivering communications training, attending industry-related events and identifying new business leads.

You will be supported in your personal development and will benefit from being involved with the wider BFBS organisation.

This role requires you to successfully complete a security clearance (a process BFBS Creative will manage). This is due to much of our work being with the UK Government and Armed Forces.

If you have any questions or require more clarity about the role and what to expect, feel free to contact Holly Turner on holly.turner@bfbs.com.
