BFBS – Trainee Broadcast Technician

Do you have a keen interest in News Broadcasting and Livestreaming?  Do you have technical skills and a passion to learn more about news production equipment and broadcasting infrastructure?

We are currently recruiting a Trainee Broadcast Technician to join our small News Operations team supporting the operational delivery of our News, Sports content, and Livestream events.

Reporting to Team Leader News Operations, this is a varied role supporting the news production staff, maintaining the core newsroom systems, and providing technical and operational assistance both in the gallery and the field.

Predominately Mon-Fri office hours, there will be a requirement for some evening and weekend cover and may include travel.

You will have some knowledge of IT systems and some broadcast technical experience through education or work experience.  Training will be given to develop your skills.
