Celebrating the Royal Marines Community at Corps Family Weekend

Royal Navy & Royal Marines Charity (RNRMC) was delighted to attend this year’s Corps Family Weekend at Commando Training Centre Royal Marines (CTCRM) Lympstone, joining thousands of serving personnel, veterans, families and supporters for a day of celebration, entertainment and community spirit.

With a stand in the heart of the drillshed, RNRMC used the occasion as an opportunity to engage directly with members of the Royal Marines family, raising awareness of the support available through the charity and its network of beneficiary organisations.

Throughout the day, members of the RNRMC team met serving Royal Marines, veterans, spouses, partners and family members, sharing information about the charity’s work and hearing first-hand about the issues affecting the community.

The event featured a packed programme of activities, including marching band performances, military displays, field gun demonstrations, live music, tug of war competitions, Beating Retreat and a spectacular fireworks finale, creating a fantastic atmosphere for visitors of all ages.

As the principal charity of the Royal Navy, RNRMC provides lifelong support to serving and former personnel of the Royal Navy and Royal Marines, as well as their families. Events such as Corps Family Weekend provide an important opportunity to strengthen relationships across the naval community and ensure beneficiaries are aware of the help available to them throughout their lives.

RNRMC would like to thank Commando Training Centre Royal Marines, The Royal Marines Charity, event organisers, volunteers and all those involved in delivering another successful Corps Family Weekend, and looks forward to returning in the future.
