£16,906 per annum pro rata (£8,452.99)
CAIS aims to empower positive changes in the lives of people affected by addiction, adverse mental health, unemployment, offending and other life challenges, through a range of services and support delivered by skilled and experienced staff and volunteers.
The CAIS Change Step Crisis Peer Mentor post is delivered by CAIS and funded by the Royal British Legion. In this role you will deliver peer mentoring support to veterans in crisis and be responsible for raising awareness of the Change Step project.
You will have a military background, be empathetic and will be able to show an understanding of the issues faced by veterans. A full driving license and access to a vehicle are essential. Welsh language is desirable although not essential.
