Cobseo charities represented by Sir John McColl at X-Forces Enterprise 5th Anniversary celebration

X-Forces Enterprise (XFE) marked its 5th anniversary by officially “opening” the London Stock Exchange (LSE) in the company of many beneficiaries and partners this week – courtesy of XFE Corporate Partner London Stock Exchange Group.

The occasion attended by Secretary of State for Defence the Rt Hon Gavin Williamson high-lighted the progress and achievements that collaboration within the Armed Forces Charities community has brought about.

The morning’s official proceedings were followed by an evening event at LSE where the “Self-employment and the Armed Forces Community” report to Forces in Mind Trust produced by Warwick Institute for Employment Research, QinetiQ and XFE was released.

Sir John McColl, representing the Armed Forces Charities community, highlighted the breadth and depth of support that – working together – we provide to the sector’s beneficiaries, through the inclusion of enterprise skills training, mentoring, networks and other tools.  Knowledge of enterprise not only equips those looking to start their own businesses; it also provides invaluable knowhow about businesses to those transitioning into employment.

It is through working together with Cobseo partners that XFE have added this important ption of support as part of the hand up that we all seek to provide our community.
