Salary: £38,000 per annum + benefits including up to 6% matched pension contribution Location: South of England
DMWS is an international charity that has been providing welfare support to the Armed Forces Community for over 70 years. Due to recent reshaping of the organisation we are now looking to recruit an Area Manager. We are seeking a talented manager ideally from a public sector or voluntary background who can demonstrate empathy for the Armed Forces and have a proven track record in operational delivery.
The main focus of the role is to ensure the successful delivery of DMWS’s service to contractual partners and to provide effective leadership to their Departments. The post-holder will also have an external focus as an ambassador of DMWS, building excellent working relationships with partners and looking for opportunities for expansion. They will also income generate through effective business networking. This is a mobile and deployable role.
Working for the Head of Operations you will be managing and developing services whilst providing leadership and direction to your teams.
