Would you like the opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of the military community? Are you a confident, self-starter with welfare experience? We are looking for someone with strong people skills, who can work independently and as part of a large team, to join the DMWS Bank Team at Oxford and Berkshire.
We are looking for someone with great interpersonal skills, compassion and the ability to handle complex cases. As part of this role, you will be supporting patients and their families (both inpatient and outpatient at local hospitals) along with providing support to families.
The responsibilities will be the welfare and effective management of referrals as part of a multi-disciplinary team. You will be required to correctly assess the welfare needs of service users with unfaltering professionalism and sensitivity. You will be a creative individual with the ability to co-ordinate and deliver a number of services in Oxford and Berkshire. Additional hours may be available to support other projects within DMWS with a possibility that unsociable hours and on call rotas may be a part of your work.
