Early Career Researchers Showcase

Submissions for this year’s Veterans’ Mental Health Conference poster session are now OPEN.

We invite all early career researchers (ECRs) researching the Armed Forces community (including research on serving personnel, veterans and their families) to submit an abstract for our poster session.

Eligibility: You are eligible to submit a poster abstract if you are either: a) a Masters’ student, or b) a PhD student, or c) a recent doctoral graduate (completed your doctorate within the last 3 years).

Submission: Your abstract should be no more than 250 words and must include a funding statement (not included in the word count). Abstracts with no findings/preliminary findings will be considered if the findings will be confirmed by the time of the conference in March 2023. Please make this clear when you submit your abstract.

All submissions should be sent to veterans-conference@kcl.ac.uk by 5 December 2022 and should include: 1) Your full name and institutional affiliation, 2) Whether you are a masters’ student, PhD student or recent doctoral graduate (within last 3 years), and 3) Your abstract (maximum 250 words) with a clear title and funding statement.
