Families Federations seek vital transition feedback from military families

transitionsurveyThe Naval, Army and RAF Families Federations have been inviting military families to take part in sharing their views and experiences to help make a difference to Forces families. The response to the survey so far has been fantastic and the evidence that they are gathering is integral to our future work on the transition project.  As a result of these responses they have decided to keep the Survey open for a further two weeks.

All those who take part will be entered into a free prize draw to win one of three HP tablets courtesy of DXC technology.

Don’t miss your chance to help improve transition for Forces families now and in the future. Families’ feedback will also be used to shape the coming work of the Transition Liaison for each of the families federations, who are each kindly funded by the Forces in Mind Trust (FiMT).

Focus on Transition

The survey focuses on transition out of the Armed Forces and will target those families who have either left the Forces in the last two years, or are due to leave before September 2019.

It will cover all aspects of the transition process including reasons for leaving, and the effect this has on the family of the serving person. They’ll also be asking families to tell them what they find to be the most challenging aspect of transition.

Families’ feedback is vital

NFF CEO Anna Wright said, “Leaving the Royal Navy or Royal Marines is a big change for the Service person and their families. This survey is to provide an oversight into aspects of transition, from your reasons for leaving to the impact that transition has had on your family. By taking part your opinions will help to make the transition process better for families.”
