Felix Fund – Fundraising Manager

Felix Fund – the bomb disposal charity is a small military charity which helps the men and women of the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) and Search community, across all three services and SO15 (Met Police Counter Terror Unit). We provide welfare support and financial assistance to serving personnel, veterans, and their dependents.

Main Purpose of the Role

Responsible for the identification, development, and implementation of the charity’s Fundraising Strategy. The objective will be to develop a sustainable and diverse funding base for the charity. The role will be responsible for multiple fundraising streams; in particular Corporate Support and Major Donors and innovating our individual and online giving.

Responsibilities

• Work with the CEO to develop and deliver the charities fundraising strategy to maximise income generation.
• Identify, open, develop and maintain long-standing relationships with major donors and individual givers.
• Prospect research a pipeline of potential high networth individuals
• Co-ordinate corporate approaches, including overseeing employee giving and matched giving from employers.
• Devise and develop a template for corporate partnerships and sponsorship.
• Co-ordinate individual donor recruitment and development.
• Create and introduce new fundraising initiatives and campaigns.
• Support the Administrative Assistant in co-ordinating a fundraising calendar and support third party events.
• Recruit organise and manage volunteers and fundraisers to carry out various functions within the charity
• Support the Administrative Assistant in the development of online auctions, Payroll Giving and Text donating.
• Recruit volunteers to form a committee to take on and manage the biannual Felix Festival event.
