Heropreneurs is a charity that inspires, networks and mentors aspiring entrepreneurs from the armed forces community.
Charlie is a former regular and serviving reservist. In what remains of his “spare time” he runs www.soldierinblue.com. The company provides extras and military advisors to the entertainment industry. Charlie will talk about the ups and downs of being an entrepreneur & the ability to build a business alongside other employment.
Heropreneurs help serving (regular and reserves), spouses and ex-service men and women develop their ideas and give them the mentoring, networking and confidence to try to reduce the risks inherent in starting and growing a business. Many of these mentors are business people with significant experience of small businesses who have not served themselves but who are willing to give a couple of hours per month to help those who have served.
