High Sherriff of Dorset awards Help 4 Homeless Veterans volunteer

Ex-Soldier, David Wood volunteers for Help 4 Homeless Veterans recently received an award from the High Sheriff of Dorset for his work with the veterans community.

David was presented with a £250 cheque for Help 4 Homeless from the Dorset Shrieval Trust as well as a High Sheriff’s award certificate for his enormous contribution to the charity.

John Young MC., JP.,DL., High Sheriff or Dorset said, “Thank you for all the work that you and your team do for homeless veterans up and down the country. It was very obvious talking to Gary that the timely guiding influence your charity gives veterans in need of help, makes a vast amount of difference to their well-being which they hugely appreciate. So, may I, on behalf of the wider community thank you and your volunteers for the very valuable work you do.”
