The RAF Benevolent Fund has teamed up with Middlesex University to carry out research into the reasons why some veterans and their families do not access welfare services that are designed for them.
We are looking for veterans of the RAF and partners of those who have served to take part so we can help them and others in the RAF Family.
The research is in the form of a survey, which seeks to understand the barriers that exist which prevent members of the RAF Family in coming forward for help and support, and to identify recommendations to address these challenges.
The research will identify recommendations to further improve services for the RAF Family.
By identifying barriers, we can recommend steps to overcome these challenges and accurately deliver our services to meet the needs of those who need them most.
Please take a few minutes to fill out the important survey, it will take around two minutes to complete.
Dr Hannah Brooking, Research and Evaluation Manager at the RAF Benevolent Fund, said:
“This is an important piece of research investigating the barriers that exist for members of the RAF Family in coming forward for help, this research can help us to better target and reach those in need.
“We therefore need your help, by participating in this research and sharing your experiences, we will gain a greater understanding of the challenges faced and will be able to support more of you effectively.”
