The first ‘Ex-Military in Management’ Virtual Careers Fair, a joint collaboration between the Officers’ Association (OA) and SaluteMyJob, is delighted to have Barclays on board, who are able to offer job vacancies, recruitment advice and career insight to all registered participants.
Barclays joins Worldpay, Amazon and Interserve as key employers who recognise the value of recruiting from the talent pool of former military personnel for management roles within their organisations.
The ‘Ex-Military in Management’ Virtual Careers Fair goes live on June 6th, 2017 and runs across two days. It is aimed at serving and former Service men and women seeking to transition into management roles in either the commercial or Third Sector.
Commenting on their commitment to the ‘Ex Military in Management Fair’, Laura Jones, Support Manager of Barclays VETS Programme says, ‘Barclays realises the true potential of veterans and has already helped hundreds of former military Service personnel start their second careers with us. We’re keen to extend our work further by participating in the Virtual Careers Fair and would encourage as many Service personnel to sign up to take part’.
