Riverside are recruiting a Housing Advice Worker at the Single Persons Accommodation Centre for the Ex-Services (SPACES) at Catterick Garrison, North Yorkshire. This is a full time opportunity working Monday – Friday 37.5 hours per week.

SPACES is an innovative project based in Catterick Garrison, North Yorkshire, managed by Riverside.  It provides an accommodation placement service for single personnel being discharged from all 3 services.

What will you do?

We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our staff team at SPACES.  For the post you will assist in the delivery of a high quality housing advice and placement service to SPACES clients.  You will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to customer service, be able to work as part of a team and on your own initiative, have problem solving skills and a flexible approach to working hours.

Does this describe you?

You will be required to have an understanding and/ or experience of working in a military environment as well as experience of working in the housing or homeless sector. You will need a good working knowledge of homelessness and housing legislation and will have used administration systems such as Microsoft Office. Excellent IT skills are essential.
