Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 (dependent on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
- To lead and coordinate all aspects of QHSE activities across the organisation to promote a positive safety, environmental, sustainable and quality culture ensuring full regulatory compliance in line with best and next practice
- Maintain continuation of ISO9001 certification and to champion ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 best practices.
- To carry out internal audits and root cause analysis.
- To support teams to implement appropriate business improvement projects to improve safety culture, competitiveness, boost productivity, reduce carbon footprint and deliver operational excellence.
Competencies & Experience
- QHSE / H&S professional (ideally with manufacturing / engineering background)
- NEBOSH general cert (or equivalent)
- Have at least a minimum of 3 years post qualification QHSE experience
- Be an excellent negotiator with effective communication
- Be determined to succeed with a positive “Make it Happen” attitude and able to engage with all levels of staff & customers
General
- May be required to travel and work off-site at Exsel or customer/supplier sites
- Ability to work outside core hours occasionally with no restrictions
- The job holder will have a current driving licence
- Must meet security vetting criteria
