The role of the voluntary sector in the UK’s recovery from the coronavirus pandemic

Danny Kruger – MP for Devizes – has been asked by the Prime Minister to review how the government can make the most of the voluntary sector in the UK’s recovery from the coronavirus pandemic.

The letter – shared on Twitter – can be read in full here.

He will be working with Diana Barran, Lords Minister DCMS and Min for Civil Society, on proposals to sustain the community response to Covid-19.

He has asked for charities and organisations to get in touch with him with suggestions for how communities can be empowered and strengthened for the long term.
