Location: Norfolk – hybrid of homeworking and office working; WWTW, Stody Hall Barns, Stody, Melton Constable, Norfolk, NR24 2ED.

Salary: £21,000

Hours: Full time 37.5 (e.g. 9-5, half hour unpaid break)

Contract Type: 12-month fixed term

Do you have what it takes to be part of the Walking With The Wounded (WWTW) team? We have an opportunity for an experienced administrator to join our small but dedicated team in Stody, Norfolk; empowering ex-service personnel to regain their independence, thrive and contribute in our communities

WWTW supports disadvantaged veterans who have served in the Armed Forces and their families. The Finance and HR Administrator is a new role further to the rapid expansion of the charity.  You will be part of the Finance and HR team who sit at the heart of the charity, where you will provide administrative support to the Finance and HR teams and become the go to person for a range of admin tasks.

The post will be a 60/40 split between the functions.  Being at the heart of the charity is busy yet rewarding, our people depend on us.  Our processing, data input and administrative duties support the workforce and allows management to make informed decisions allowing us to keep moving in the right direction.

The ideal candidate may have previous experience as an in a finance assistant role or as an office administrator for a small organisation with experience of recording financial transactions and handling of office administration relating to, finance matters such as processing and maintaining purchase ledgers and human resource administration.

Accuracy and attention to detail and communication are vital for this role as is being a collaborative team member and an effective multitasker with excellent knowledge of Microsoft programs specifically excel and the ability to use financial platforms.

The nature of the role will require a high level of confidentiality and discretion due to the often sensitive data handled by the functions the successful individual will be expected to work within WWTW’s values, policies and procedures.

No two days will be the same and being able to work effectively on multiple tasks throughout any one day will be essential in this busy role.  We are looking for someone who wants to establish a career in Finance or HR, who wants to belong and who will get a sense of purpose from the outcomes of the wider team form the knowledge they are part of the teams that provides the core functions enabling them to do so effectively.

With Covid-19 WWTW has implemented some hybrid working arrangements, this post will be a hybrid of home and office based to support the functional elements required of the role.
