Description

Established in 2010, Walking With The Wounded is a leading organisation in the military charity sector. Our focus is on early intervention for those harder to reach ex-servicemen and women who have found the transition to civilian life more difficult. With programmes supporting employment, education and training, mental health and criminal justice; we provide a holistic approach to support vulnerable veterans to independence.

The salary above is pro rata for working a flexible 22.5 hours per week. You will be supporting the CEO and Senior Management Team (SMT), and will be responsible for administering an effective HR function across all sites (Norfolk, Manchester, London and Gateshead), including the recording annual leave, sickness absence, annual performance reviews, contract preparation and facilitating mandatory training.

You will also support the Information Governance Lead in delivering an efficient governance structure across the charity by maintaining policies and procedures in line with statutory and regulatory requirements, revising and developing where appropriate.

About you:

To meet the requirements of the role you will be Qualified by Experience, or could be working towards your CIPD, have a strong administrative background and be experienced and proficient in the use of a variety of software packages. You will need to demonstrate accuracy and excellent attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and work to deadlines. You will also need good written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
