Shropshire Council’s Enable supported employment service have a vacancy for an IPS Specialist to help Veterans with mental health problems towards and into work.
The successful applicant will require experience of IPS mental health employment services.
Key elements of the role are:
- Assess and review referrals
- Advise on future employment and career options
- Liaise with employers
- Liaise with mental health teams/workers
- Liaise with referring organisations such as veterans charities and mental health teams
- Help with job searching and post-employment support
The post is based at Orsborn House, 55, Terrace Road, Handsworth, B19 1BP
You will need to be an excellent communicator (written and verbal), good inter-personal skills focussed on achieving positive outcomes and the ability to plan and organise your time to manage a challenging caseload.
You must possess a good level of education. You must have experience of employment or careers work.
