Lifting Our Sights Beyond 2030

The impact of future trends on the transition of our Armed Forces Community from military to civilian life.

About this Event

This event is the online launch of the report Lifting Our Sights: Beyond 2030 – the impact of future trends on the transition of our Armed Forces Community from military to civilian life will take place at 10am on Thursday 27th May 2021.

The research was commissioned by FiMT and has been conducted by Future Agenda. The project team have been working with key stakeholders over the last year to examine the changing nature of UK society and to identify the socio-economic and socio-political trends that will impact on the Armed Forces Community, and the organisations that work with them, over the next decade.

This is a must attend event for anyone with an interest in the Armed Forces Community – politicians, policy advisers, officials, trustees, charity staff and business leaders to help with strategic planning for 2030 and beyond.

The online event will last for one hour. It will present the key findings and recommendations of the report and offer insights from those working with the Armed Forces Community on the challenges and opportunities likely to be encountered over the next decade. A full list of speakers will be announced shortly and will include Patrick Harris, Director of Future Agenda.
