Our friendly, informal Armed Forces Hubs take place every month in Truro, Launceston, Redruth, Newquay, Penryn, Helston, Penzance and Liskeard. Each hub offers a welcoming space where veterans, serving personnel and families can meet over tea, coffee and biscuits while accessing support with dental appointments, health and wellbeing, housing, welfare, employment, education and training, volunteering, peer support, substance misuse, and compulsive gambling.

We also invite employers who can offer guaranteed interviews for veterans to attend one hub each month, providing a valuable opportunity to learn about job roles, recruitment processes and pathways into employment.

Established in 2010, Walking With The Wounded ‘WWTW’ is a leading military charity which recognises that those who served, deserve.

Whether mentally wounded, socially wounded or physically wounded, they deserve the care, support and means they and their families need to function in society, serving in the communities in which they live, reigniting their sense of purpose and making a positive contribution again.

Walking With The Wounded gets those who’ve served – and their families – back on their feet. We do three things: employment, mental health and care coordination which are saving jobs, homes, relationships and lives for the veterans who are struggling since leaving the military.

Our innovative partnerships with the NHS England wide OP Courage service , and Head Start , own mental health programme enabling 121 therapy within days, are delivering significant, positive, social impacts across the UK.

We have Integrated Regional Services in the North East, North West , East of England and in the South East.

serving personnel) from all corners of the United Kingdom and all parts of the Armed Forces a
comprehensive experience of Battlefield Archaeology. This experience brings numerous benefits, both in
supporting the recovery from physical and mental injuries, and in providing the opportunity to explore
archaeology as a possible professional, academic or casual interest in civilian life. The programme is supported throughout by archaeologists, and by professionals and enthusiasts from related disciplines, as well as by a team of Wellbeing professionals who are on hand to ensure that the programme is of maximum value to each participant.

The aims of the Witham Hub are to promote social inclusion for the public benefit of individuals living within the town of Witham and its surrounding area by preventing people from becoming socially excluded, relieving the needs of those people who are socially excluded and assisting them to integrate into society.
To develop the capacity and skills of individuals living within that community who are socially and economically disadvantaged in such a way that they are better able to identify, and help meet, their needs and to participate more fully in society.

To ensure that no one goes hungry by offering food support whenever needed, via our self-referral scheme, by referral from trusted partners or by our community fridge. We offer a no questions asked food parcel to bridge a gap when funds are tight but also offer someone to chat with if needed supporting mental health. Offering a friendly space for a cuppa and a chat. Our ethos is we put the unity back in community.
