In October Give Us Time sent five families to the amazing Azure Resort in Malta in collaboration with the Defence Medical Rehabilitation Center at Headley Court. We were thrilled to once again be featured in the Majorca Daily Bulletin following our recent trip to the island with 17 wounded, injured and sick serving personnel and veterans. From 7th – 14th October, servicemen from the Royal Navy, Army took part in a varied programme of events in Majorca. The week was designed to build confidence and provide fun and excitement away from the monotony of the rehabilitation process, with beneficiaries treated to activities such as hiking, horse riding, water caving and climbing. A gala evening at Son Amar – thanks to the fantastic generosity of owner Margaret Whittaker OBE – prompted one individual to declare that the week spent in Majorca was “the best trip he had ever been on.”Read more
