Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Richmond, Surrey
c.50-55k per annum plus benefits

The Poppy Factory is the UKs leading employment charity providing specialist employment support to Veterans’ who are wounded, injured or sick.

This is an exciting period of change at the Charity.  We have ambitious plans to expand our employability service to meet the needs of increasing numbers of veterans requesting our support to gain meaningful employment.

The role of communications is integral to support us achieve this objective.  We have created this new role of Head of Communication to take responsibility for development and delivery of communications strategy; to raise the Poppy Factory profile; evidence the impact of our work and promote engagement of internal and external stakeholders in our activities.

This is a great opportunity for a creative communications expert with senior level experience to work in an inspirational charity.

You will need a track record of developing and delivering effective communications; brand management, marketing and marketing strategies; experience of handling the media, in-depth knowledge of modern and emergent communications and marketing techniques, ability to influence and engage effectively with high level audiences and experience of leading and developing high performing communications teams.
