SCiP Alliance Impact Centre Listening Tour

The Impact Centre Listening Tour is your opportunity to ensure your voice and perspective on what works for Service children are heard as part of a nationwide conversation.

The SCiP Alliance Impact Centre wants to hear from anyone working with Service children about the approaches that make a real difference. This could include support at home, in schools, within communities, or in relation to health and wellbeing. We are particularly interested in understanding how evidence is accessed, used, and shared across the sector—and how communication about “what works” can be strengthened.

The work of the SCiP Alliance Impact Centre responds to a clear need: to better support the sector in evidencing and communicating effective practice for Service children. We will develop training, resources, and guidance on best practices in evidencing—but it’s essential that this work is shaped by those directly supporting Service children.

To achieve this, we are launching a wide-reaching community engagement listening tour, designed to come to you and hear your insights firsthand. This forms part of the Landscape of Evidence Needs for the Sector (LENS) Programme, a broad scoping initiative that includes:

  • The listening tour
  • Interviews with sector leaders
  • Written submissions
  • Analysis of existing materials

By bringing together these insights, we aim to highlight best practice and identify the most effective ways to strengthen evidencing approaches across the sector.
