Community Network are seeking an experienced project worker to promote and manage the day to day running of our national Seafarers Link project for former seafarers and their dependants.
£22,000 – £24,000 pro rata
21 hours per week
In 2017 we celebrate our 10th anniversary of the Community Network Seafarers Link project bringing together seafarers from across the UK via telephone based peer support groups.

The groups are open to former Merchant Navy, Royal Navy, and WRNS, as well as former Fishing Fleet and seafarers’ wives, partners, family and carers. You will be a vital member of our team, working to find and place ex-Seafarers into suitably matched peer support groups.
A key role will be to promote the work of Community Network’s Seafarers Link project to other organisations, especially those supporting the seafaring community. If you have a passion for reducing isolation, as well as a working knowledge of outreach and support groups, this could be the ideal role for you.
The closing date for applications is 9am on Wednesday 22nd November.
First stage interviews are to be held via the telephone on Thursday 30thNovember.
Second stage interviews to be held in London on Thursday 7th December.
