The Military Mutual’s purpose is to support the Military Family by offering a better deal than in the traditional insurance market with products that protect your home, car, military kit, veteran owned small businesses and, in particular, offers Commercial Combined Cover across a wide range of risks to organisations that support the wider military community and safeguard heritage military assets. This includes military related charities, regimental associations, service funds and military museums.
We offer cover for individuals and organisations who have a link to the Armed Forces community. Our Business cover is very flexible and we will work hard to ensure we can meet a wide range of needs, some of which may well be non-standard for many insurers.
As a Mutual we are owned by our Members. Because we don’t have shareholders who expect to be paid dividends, any surpluses belong to Members and can be used to re-invest in products and service and support the wider military community.
The Military Mutual supports charities and causes that are important to the Military Family and its supporters. We also provide free legal defence services to serving and former members and reservists of the United Kingdom Armed Forces facing charges under the Armed Forces Act 2006 or any person in a position of command in the United Kingdom Armed Forces defending a claim in the United Kingdom Courts for negligent acts and or omissions made in the course of their military duties.

The Poppy Factory’ mission is to support veterans with health conditions on their journey into employment and to continue supporting them whatever challenges they may face.
Four out of five of the veterans we work with report a mental health condition. Whatever their situation, and whatever they are going through, our employability team is on hand to offer one-to-one support.
Our service is veteran-centred and helps people of all ages, including many over 50. The men and women we support move into a diverse range of jobs across dozens of different sectors, from logistics and construction to the charity sector and health care.
The Poppy Factory has been supporting wounded, injured and sick veterans for nearly 100 years. We continue to stand by them on their journey into employment and beyond.

A regional team of career experts work with employers to help veterans with health challenges into rewarding and sustainable work.
Consultants work with each veteran to create a personal career plan, give free CV and interview training, and source local job opportunities with supportive employers. A network of volunteer mentors and ongoing in-work support ensures that Poppy Factory ‘clients’ thrive in their new workplace.
Any veteran with a physical or mental health condition can register, as long as they are no longer being supported through the Career Transition Partnership as part of their resettlement. The Poppy Factory’s Getting You Back To Work service has already helped hundreds of disabled veterans into meaningful and sustainable work.
